III. Information about the data processing
Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for its storage ceases to apply, provided the deletion of the same is not in breach of any statutory storage obligations or unless otherwise stipulated below.
Server data
For technical reasons, the following data sent by your internet browser to us or to our server provider will be collected, especially to ensure a secure and stable website: These server log files record the type and version of your browser, operating system, the website from which you came (referrer URL), the webpages on our site visited, the date and time of your visit, as well as the IP address from which you visited our site.
The data thus collected will be temporarily stored, but not in association with any other of your data.
The basis for this storage is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of our website. The data will be deleted within no more than seven days, unless continued storage is required for evidentiary purposes. In which case, all or part of the data will be excluded from deletion until the investigation of the relevant incident is finally resolved.
Securing the Transmission
When we ask you for personal data, including your name, address and credit card data, it may or may not be transferred over a Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) line provided you are using a SSL enabled browser. If the information is transferred over SSL, it is encrypted as it travels over the Internet. This secure mode is enabled before any such information is transmitted from your computer. You will know you are in secure mode when the padlock icon in the lower right-hand or left-hand corner of the computer screen appears in the locked position. In addition, when accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from “http” to “https.”
Cookies
a) Session cookies
We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies stored on your computer by your browser. These cookies process certain specific information about you, such as your browser, location data, or IP address. This processing makes our website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure, allowing us, for example, to display our website in different languages or to offer a shopping cart function.
The legal basis for such processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, insofar as these cookies are used to collect data to initiate or process contractual relationships. If the processing does not serve to initiate or process a contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis is then Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. When you close your browser, these session cookies are deleted.
b) Third-party cookies
If necessary, our website may also use cookies from companies with whom we cooperate for the purpose of advertising, analyzing, or improving the features of our website. Please refer to the following information for details, in particular for the legal basis and purpose of such third-party collection and processing of data collected through cookies.
c) Disabling cookies
You can refuse the use of cookies by changing the settings on your browser. Likewise, you can use the browser to delete cookies that have already been stored. However, the steps and measures required vary, depending on the browser you use. If you have any questions, please use the help function or consult the documentation for your browser or contact its maker for support. Browser settings cannot prevent so-called flash cookies from being set. Instead, you will need to change the setting of your Flash player. The steps and measures required for this also depend on the Flash player you are using. If you have any questions, please use the help function or consult the documentation for your Flash player or contact its maker for support. If you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, not all of the functions on our site may be fully usable.
Contact
If you contact us via Email or the contact form, the data you provide will be used for the purpose of processing your request. We must have this data in order to process and answer your inquiry; otherwise we will not be able to answer it in full or at all.
The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.
Your data will be deleted once we have fully answered your inquiry and there is no further legal obligation to store your data, such as if an order or contract resulted therefrom.
Carmen Baudi uses the technical platform and services of Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland for the information service offered on Facebook. We point out that you use the Facebook page and Facebook group, as well as the respective functions in your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating). Alternatively, you may access some of the information provided through our Facebook Page and Facebook Group on our website at [carmenbaudi.com]. When you visit our Facebook Page or Facebook Group, Facebook collects, among other things, your IP address and other information that is available on your terminal in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as operators of the Facebook Page and Facebook Group, with statistical information about the use of the Facebook Page and Facebook Group. Facebook provides further information on this under the following link: https://www.facebook.com/help/pages/insights.
The data collected about you in this context is processed by Facebook Ltd. and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. Facebook describes in general terms what information it receives and how it is used in its data use guidelines. There you will also find information on how to contact Facebook and how to set up advertisements. The Data Usage Guidelines are available at the following link: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy. Facebook’s complete Privacy Policy can be found at https://de-de.facebook.com/full_data_use_policy. Facebook does not conclusively and clearly state how Facebook uses the data from visits to Facebook pages or Facebook groups for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Facebook page or in the Facebook group are assigned to individual users, how long Facebook stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Facebook page or Facebook group is passed on to third parties, and is not aware of this. When accessing a Facebook Page or Facebook Group, the IP address assigned to your end device is transmitted to Facebook. According to Facebook, this IP address is anonymized (for “German” IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Facebook also stores information about its users’ end devices (e.g. as part of the “registration notification” function); Facebook may thus be able to assign IP addresses to individual users. If you are currently logged on to Facebook as a user, your terminal device contains a cookie with your Facebook identification. This enables Facebook to track whether you have visited our Facebook page and Facebook group and how you have used them. Facebook buttons integrated into websites enable Facebook to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Facebook profile. This information can be used to tailor content or advertising to you. If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Facebook or deactivate the function “stay logged in”, delete the cookies on your device and close and restart your browser. This deletes Facebook information that immediately identifies you. This allows you to use our Facebook page and group without revealing your Facebook identifier. When you access the interactive features of the page (like, comment, share, message, etc.), a Facebook login screen appears. Once you have logged in, Facebook will recognize you again as a specific user. For information on how to manage or delete information about you, please visit the following Facebook support pages: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy#.
As the provider of the information service, we do not collect or process any additional data from your use of our service. If you have any questions about our information service, you can contact us at the contact details listed in above. Via extensions integrated into our website or Facebook buttons and the use of cookies, Facebook is able to record your visits to our website and assign them to your Facebook profile. This information can be used to tailor content or advertising to you. You can prevent this by logging out of your Facebook account and deleting Facebook cookies in your browser.

Instagram does not complete, clearly state, or disclose the manner in which Instagram uses data from Instagram channel visits for its own purposes, the extent to which Instagram channel activities are assigned to individual users, how long Instagram stores this data, or whether data from Instagram channel visits is shared with third parties. When you access an Instagram channel, the IP address assigned to your device is transmitted to Instagram. According to Facebook, this IP address is anonymized (for “German” IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Instagram also stores information about its users’ end devices (e.g., as part of the “Login Notification” function); this may allow Instagram to assign IP addresses to individual users. If you are currently logged in to Instagram as a user, your device will contain a cookie with your Instagram ID. This enables Instagram to track whether you have visited our Instagram channel and how you have used it. This also applies to all other instagram channels. Instagram buttons embedded in websites allow Instagram to track your visits to those websites and associate them with your Instagram profile. This data can be used to tailor content or advertising to your needs. If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Instagram or disable the “stay logged in” feature, delete the cookies on your device, and exit and restart your browser. This will delete any instagram information that immediately identifies you. This allows you to use our Instagram channel without revealing your Instagram ID. When you access interactive features on the site (Like, Comment, Share, News, etc.), an Instagram login screen appears. After a possible login, you will be recognized as a specific user for Instagram again. Legal Issues
Carmen Baudi will disclose personal information without your permission when required by law or in good faith belief if such action is necessary or desirable to comply with the law, protect or defend the rights or property of Carmen Baudi, this site or its users.
Your Rights
You have the right to information at any time as to whether we process your personal data. If this is the case, this will result in further information obligations on our part. Then you have the right to correct the data, to delete the data and to restrict the processing of the data if there are no further legal requirements to the contrary. Legal basis and legitimate interest
Article 6, paragraph 1 littera a DSGVO serves as a legal basis for processing operations in which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. Article 6, paragraph 1 littera b DSGVO serves us as a legal basis for processing operations in which personal data is processed to fulfil a contract to which the visitor is a party. This is the case, for example, with processing operations that are necessary for the provision of a service, the delivery of goods or consideration. Article 6, paragraph 1 littera c DSGVO serves us as a legal basis for processing operations that are necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, such as in cases of inquiries regarding our services or products. This may be the case, for example, in the fulfilment of legal obligations. Finally, processing operations could be based on Article 6, Section 1 littera f DSGVO. Processing operations that are not covered by any of the aforementioned legal bases are based on this legal basis if the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, provided that the interests, fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms of the person concerned do not predominate.
Finally
We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration from time to time so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or in order to take account of changes to our services in the data protection declaration, for example when introducing new services. The new data protection declaration then applies to renewed visits.
